Language education of adult immigrants

Monograph Language education of adult immigrants in the Czech Republic and Sweden deals with language education of adult immigrants in the Czech Republic and Sweden. Against the background of migration and integration, it advocates language learning for adult immigrants in lifelong learning, pointing to their new life situation, which is further reflected in their particularities in education and their motivation. At the same time, the monograph deals with the role of a lecturer in further education. It also presents the history and current form of language education of adult immigrants not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Sweden. The publication presents and analyses research carried out in 2012 in free language courses in the Czech Republic and Sweden. The results are compared within the Czech Republic and Sweden and interpreted with overlaps in pedagogical theory and practice.
