Invalid voting in the Czech Republic and

in new democracies
Tomáš Lebeda, Jakub Lysek etc.

The book pursues two main objectives. Firstly, it presents the problem of invalid votes in the Czech Republic and reveals the causes of the occurrence of invalid votes in Czech elections. Secondly, it provides comparative analyses of invalid votes in the new democracies of Central and Eastern Europe. In this region, it identifies the causes of differences in the number of invalid votes and compares them in one of the analyses with another region democratizing the country – Latin America.
