Historical block The Moon.
The past connected with the present and the future, that is the leitmotif of the university jubilee, which refers to the year 1573, when Emperor Maximilian II. granted graduation rights to the Jesuit college at the time and a Jesuit academy was established in Olomouc on an equal footing with other Western European universities at the time. The year 2023 is the year of Palacký University in Olomouc. The second oldest university in the Czech Republic is celebrating 450 years since its foundation.
