Jan Marcus Marci – you may not know this graduate of Olomouc University, but the phenomenon he described is in front of your eyes every day. He became famous for his discovery of the impact of bodies and, above all, of the refraction and decomposition of light, several years before Newton. Therefore, the logo of the celebration of 450 years of the Palacký University in Olomouc, which will commemorate this anniversary in 2023, is based on the refraction and decomposition of light. In it, the colors of its eight faculties merge to form one university.
It’s the same with these coloring books – eight sheets put together a picture of one university town.
